Installing the Word Add-In

The CORTO for Microsoft Word Add-in brings our AI tools - including Chat and Prompts - directly into Microsoft Word, so you can work within Word.

Windows: Install from Microsoft AppSource (the Microsoft marketplace for Office add-ins)

  1. Open Microsoft Word (desktop or web)

  2. Go to Home >> Add-ins

  1. In the Add-ins window, search for Corto

  2. Click Add

  1. Once installed, the Corto panel appears on the right-hand side.

Mac: Install from Microsoft AppSource (the Microsoft marketplace for Office add-ins)

  1. Open Microsoft Word (desktop or web)

  2. Click Home Tab >> Add-ins

  1. In the Add-ins window, search for Corto

  2. Click Add

  1. Once installed, the Corto panel appears on the right-hand side.

πŸ’‘ You only need to install it once. It will show up automatically the next time you open Word.

Troubleshooting

Can't find the Add-in?

  • Try restarting Word

  • Then go to Insert >> My Add-ins to launch it manually
